AACS Achievement Testing Program Update for 2020-2021
Reminders About the AACS Achievement Testing Program
- Updated order forms and program guides are now posted on the AACS website.
- Use the 2020-21 Test Materials Order Form to order test materials and use the 2020-21 Fall Scoring Services Order Form or the 2020-21 Spring Scoring Services Order Form to order scoring services when answer documents are sent back to the AACS for scanning.
- The 2021 AACS Achievement Testing Program Guide has been updated and placed on the AACS website. Each school should download a copy of this guide for staff reference.
- Please note that the AACS Office, including the Scoring Center, has moved. The new address is 6170 Shallowford Road, Suite 103, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
- Please note the following important dates for the achievement testing program:
- Fall Testing Window: August 17, 2020 to September 30, 2020—All testing must be done within this range.
- Return Deadline: October 15, 2020—All materials for scoring must be returned to AACS; shipments received after this date will incur a late fee.
- November 2, 2020—Order for Spring by this date to avoid a 3% late order fee.
- Spring Testing Window: March 15, 2021 to April 23, 2021—All testing must be done within this range.
- Return Deadline: May 14, 2021—All materials for scoring must be returned to AACS to avoid the 5% late fee ($25 minimum)
- Supplemental Content Classification Guides are posted on the AACS website. This is a great new resource that Iowa developed at our request. The guides provide relevant core content standards for levels 5–14 (Grades K5 through 8th) in the areas of math and language arts.
- Iowa Assessments™ Individual and Group Performance Profile reports are now available digitally in “Scoring Service Print Style” format directly from the DataManager Report Center. These long-popular reports display test scores by skill domain and cognitive level using convenient graphs and narrative text for ease of interpretation. Skill domain achievement reports such as the performance profiles enable educators to identify strengths and weaknesses, inform instruction, and monitor growth. These reports are also included in the Iowa Report Package B on the 2020-21 Scoring Services Order Form.
