WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5 -  10:30 A.M. - NOON
south atrium (2nd floor)

sponsored by IACS and Chaplain Matt Barnes

This event will focus on providing Christian school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to:
  1. Understand more about how their state government works;
  2. Hear from elected leaders and how their faith impacts their work;
  3. Demonstrate a gospel centered approach to engaging with their leaders; and,
  4. Learn how to effectively pray for their leaders.

To maximize the impact of the event, we are asking school leaders to make contact with their elected representative prior to the event to let them know of your plans to attend on March 5. As a help to you, we are providing this sample email that you may use with your elected officials at least a week in advance. Visit this site to locate the names and contact information for your representatives.

* Lunch: Noon - $10 Chick-fil-A lunch per attendee - electronic payment in advance required
* After lunch: Observe House or Senate committee meetings or go on prearranged Satehouse tours. To schedule, please call (317) 233-5293 or email [email protected]
* Entrance: Drop off students to go through security at 104 N Capitol Ave. Arrive by 9:30 a.m. to allow time for parking and to get through security.
* Parking:  The Statehouse recommends buses park at the Indianapolis Zoo (about two miles from the Statehouse). Vans and cars can park at any public parking garage or street metered parking.
* Dress: Given the nature of this event and the interactions with elected officials, we kindly request that all attendees dress in business professional attire.

We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.  Psalm 78:4
