Purpose & value
why attend?

The 2026 IACS Teacher Convention is intentionally designed to equip teachers in three areas—spiritually, professionally, and relationally. Participants can expect:

  • Biblical encouragement and renewal through Christ-centered preaching and worship
  • Practical workshops focused on real classroom challenges and solutions
  • Sessions tailored to a variety of roles, including classroom teachers, administrators, fine arts instructors, coaches, and support staff
  • Fellowship with like-minded Christian educators who understand both the joys and demands of Christian education

Our desire is that every attendee leaves encouraged in heart, sharpened in skill, and renewed in purpose.

Convention theme
equipped for every good work (ii Tim. 3:16-17)

Scripture reminds us that God equips His servants through His Word for the work He has prepared for them. This year’s convention will emphasize how biblical truth shapes our teaching, strengthens our calling, and sustains us for faithful service as Christian educators.

Throughout the convention, sessions and messages will reinforce this theme by focusing on biblical clarity, instructional excellence, and enduring faithfulness in the classroom and beyond.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. John goetsch

We are pleased to welcome Dr. John Goetsch, Exec. VP of West Coast Baptist College, as our keynote speaker for the 2026 convention.

Dr. Goetsch brings decades of experience in Christian education and ministry leadership, along with a deep commitment to biblical truth. His messages will challenge and encourage educators to remain steadfast, faithful, and well-equipped for the work God has entrusted to them.
