Online Options for Fall Teachers Convention

Due to the latest COVID19 restrictions, guidelines and rules from Indiana Governor Holcomb, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, and Marion County Leadership, along with the IACS desire to keep everyone safe, the IACS Board has decided to cancel the in person IACS 2020 Teacher’s Convention.  

In its place, IACS has partnered with the Southeast Christian School Convention (SCSC).  The SSCS convention is a virtual convention event on September 24-25. This is a great opportunity for our IACS teachers.  SCSC will have a high-quality virtual conference scheduled with eight tracks of excellent content and presenters, along with two general sessions.  Here are a few important details for you to know:

  • Convention Dates: September 24–25 -- Convention sessions will not be available for viewing after these dates
  • Cost: $50 per attendee by September 10 & $60 per attendee after September 10.

  • Following registration, attendees can view the agenda, list of speakers, virtual exhibit area, discussion board, virtual meet-up, and other areas on the convention mobile app through the end of the two-day online convention
  • The 2020 Southeast Convention Workshop Agenda and List of Speakers will be available by September 1
 
The IACS is promoting this virtual teacher convention hosted by the Southeast Christian School Convention in place of the IACS 2020 Teachers Convention. While we will not be able to congregate in Indiana, we want to provide as many opportunities for our schools and teachers as possible.
