Keynote speakers
John Elcesser has spent the past 43 years working in and on behalf of private schools. Seventeen years ago, John moved to Indianapolis to assume the role of Executive Director of the Indiana Non-Public Education Association. INPEA is a membership association for non-public schools in Indiana and currently represents approximately 400 faith-based and secular schools. In his role at INPEA, he has been an actively engaged partner in the school choice movement here in Indiana and across the country. As a part of a broad school choice coalition, he was involved in the passage of both the Tax Credit Scholarship Program in 2009, the Choice Scholarship (voucher) Legislation in 2011, and the voucher expansions in 2021 and 2023.

Abel Taye serves as the High School Director for Christians United for Israel (CUFI). Guided by his love for foreign policy and American history, he has worked on different international engagement projects that involved policy makers, think tanks, and nonprofits. He was also a CUFI campus chapter leader and advocate. He believes in strong American engagement in the world, especially in the Middle East. Most importantly, he focuses on cultivating and helping American engagement with the Jewish people by creating working partnerships, developing outreach events to faith community leaders and through mentoring young professionals.

Josh Hershberger is an attorney, minister and speaker that equips Christians to be gospel-centered citizens in post-Christian America. He leads The Church Ambassador Network (a ministry of Indiana Family Institute), a new, Gospel-centered effort to build relationships with elected officials and impact public life in Indiana and the Good Citizen Project, his national writing and speaking ministry. He is licensed to practice law in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and numerous federal courts, and his focus is in church law, constitutional law and nonprofit law. He is also an ordained pastor and regularly speaks at his home church in Hanover, Indiana.
