Application process
Though a school's annual membership coincides with the academic year, applications for new schools are welcomed at any time. New applications, annual renewals, and annual due payments assessed fees are due in the State Office each September. Schools desiring membership or more information are encouraged to call Dr. Kevin Suiter, IACS Executive Director, in the State Office at 317-922-1676.
New SCHOOL Applications
Please submit each of these three items by mail or email:
Schools may use last year's enrollment numbers on the application for early applications, after which they will be asked to update their numbers to determine actual dues payment. After review and approval for membership by the IACS Board of Directors, new schools should mail their annual dues payment to the IACS Office for processing by September 15. Please see the note below about the membership year and payment methods.

Annual Membership Renewals
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL: September 15 for all schools. Schools that are renewing their membership for the new school year will receive a pre-filled form prior to September 1 after enrollment has settled. Completed forms and payment of dues are due in the IACS Office by September 15. (See payment methods below.)
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES: Dues are $15.50 per every student, every teacher (full and part time), and every administrative staff member (full and part time), and are due by September 15. Student counts must include every student, including students taking as little as one class. Home school students who are participating in athletic tournaments, FABA, Fall Music Festival, and/or IOWA testing must be included in your student count as well.
Choice Schools who are cash-strapped until their first voucher payment arrives may request deferred payment arrangements. Such requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and received by September 15 to avoid a late payment fee. Deferred payments must be paid in full by November 1.
MEMBERSHIP YEAR: Annual membership runs from September to August and must be renewed annually by September 15. Payment of annual dues constitutes a dual membership in the IACS and the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS). Schools that have not paid their dues by September 15 (or November 1 by prior arrangement) will not be included in the AACS National Directory. (State Offices may use this directory to verify the validity of a school's accreditation or credibility.)
