IACS Fall Music Festival
The IACS is sponsoring their third annual Fall Music Festival on Thursday and Friday, October 31 - November 1, 2024 hosted by the Indiana Christian Academy in Anderson, IN. Skilled directors/guest clinicians will work with choir and band students from IACS schools, culminating in a combined concert on Friday evening in the auditorium of Grace Baptist Church in Anderson, IN. School choir and band directors are encouraged to support this student opportunity by preparing their student musicians for participation during regular rehearsals in the fall semester. Registration will open in August.
The purpose of the IACS Fall Music Festival is to: 1) develop students' musicianship; 2) build positive relationships among student musicians from IACS member schools; and 3) promote excellence for the glory of God.
Repertoire, carefully selected by the guest conductors, is intended to challenge students to new levels of performance. Selections will include a blend of sacred and secular, general and seasonal, all of which will represent the best in choral and instrumental music.
