Dr. Jeff Walton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Bob Jones University, a Master of Education degree from the University of Richmond, and a Doctor of Divinity degree from Virginia Baptist College. Privileged to grow up in a pastor’s home, his involvement in Christian education includes graduating in the first commencement of Faith Baptist School of Longmont, Colorado, serving as a teacher and school administrator, as director of the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools, and as Executive Vice-President of Virginia Baptist College. In addition to his leadership in these positions, he has been active in the legislative process, seeking to secure policies and legislation to protect the ministries of Christian schools. He has presented professional development workshops for Christian school teachers at several state and national conferences in the U.S. and at conferences in Timisoara and Beius, Romania. His local church involvement has included various ministries: Sunday school teacher, teen choir director, deacon, and assistant pastor.
