The 2019 Student Leadership Conference will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019, at Cornerstone Baptist Academy, 10701 E 56th Street, Indianapolis (Lawrence). Sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.
SLC is designed for grades 9-12. We strongly encourage every school to bring as many students as possible. There are separate sessions for sponsors, PLUS Strategy Discussion, Case Studies, Follow-up Projects for ongoing training. This is what Mr. Phillip Woods, SLC coordinator and host, had to say following the 2017 conference: "The atmosphere was good. The speakers were great! The principles presented are life changing! I consider SLC to be a vital piece of our school’s spiritual emphasis for each year. If you have never attended, I would encourage you to make this event a priority for next school year and come at least one time."

 Dr. Phil Suiter taught in the School of Education at Marshall University. After leaving public education in 1980, Dr. Suiter served in a variety of leadership roles within the Christian school movement in West Virginia and at the national levels with the America Association of Christian Schools. He is an author of several books written to benefit Christian Education, Christian Schools, and Christian Education Leaders. Dr. Suiter is also planning to have some copies of his earlier book, A Scent of Water at the meeting. The schedule for the day follows.
